Helvacıoğlu has mixed and mastered more than a hundred albums. The genres that he can cover as a mixing/mastering engineer include beat based musics such as EDM, electronic pop, rock, hip-hop, instrumental musics such as world music, jazz, contemporary classical, as well as texture based musics such as ambient, dark ambient, and electroacoustic.
“Mastering is not just about frequency and dynamic range processing. It is about hearing the missing subtle elements within the production itself. It is about shaping the sonic world of the album so that it sounds like the production was recorded and mixed at the best studios. (Remember the days where albums were recorded at various studios around the world to achieve that “sound”) As a producer, engineer myself I worked with the worst gear and the best gear. That experience, frustration led me to develop a new method (which includes PREMASTERING), a method where the final master sounds BIG, WIDE and WARM.”
